An interview with AngelsHub’s Vice President of Business Development, Seba Nader

In an insightful conversation, Anastasija from Revpanda recently had the privilege to chat with Seba Nader, the Vice President of Business Development at AngelsHub. Anastasija: It’s great to have you here. To start, could you provide some insight into your background and how you came to work with AngelsHub?

Seba: I am Seba Nader, after holding several positions in the gaming industry and being linked to the entertainment sector for around a decade, I am proud to be at AngelsHub as VP of Business Development. It has been almost a year now since we started the brand, and proudly, I can say, it cannot get better.

Angelshub initially started out as a B2C brand. In the last period, we decided to reposition ourselves as a B2B platform provider. The reason behind that was because we felt our product could bring substantial value to the market based on our own experience, especially for those looking for a casino and sportsbook solution.

Our team consists of a number of industry professionals who all have deep knowledge of both the B2B and B2C sides of the industry. Anastasija: Business development is crucial for growth. What approaches and tactics does your team employ to identify and cultivate new opportunities within the online gaming sector?

Seba: Our first and main rule is, you never forget that running a productive line of work is based on trust and respect. This approach is the reason why our projects have been and will remain successful. It’s all about those relationships and people you enjoy spending time with.

Anastasija: What events organized by AceAlliance have stood out the most or proved most useful for your company?

Seba: We have organized an event with Ace Alliance in Amsterdam during IGB Live. The venue was breathtaking, which mesmerized me personally. The quality and diversity of the attendees benefited us greatly in meeting different industry representatives all gathered in one place. That one definitely stood out from the rest!

Anastasija: With the increasing adoption of cryptocurrency in the online gaming industry, how does AngelsHub support clients looking to integrate crypto solutions into their platforms?

Seba: We can proudly say that we have extensive experience and know-how that will help us provide the best services to our customers in order to launch and successfully develop their crypto platform, as we support them with the most valuable payment options in the market. Anastasija: Balancing a dynamic role in business development can be demanding. How do you maintain a work-life balance, and do you have any tips for professionals looking to achieve this balance?

Seba: I might get so many opinions about what I will say here, but life work balance is a myth; it is subjective. Balance is created based on each individual individually; it differs from case to case, and there is no unified rule or general advice to achieve it. All I can advise is to work smartly, and after that you should be living, loving, and enjoying life. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so you have to fill your cup and enjoy life.

Anastasija: Could you share a mentor or role model who has played a critical role in shaping your career, and what valuable guidance have you received from them?

Seba: Shout out to Robert Dowling; he was my first mentor and the person who taught me the first sales techniques and tricks. He taught me a lot and pushed me to pass on this knowledge to others after all these years.

Anastasija: Finally, on a lighter note, what’s something interesting or unique about you that most people might not know?

Seba: I am a kizomba dancer, and it has been my therapy and pleasure for years now. Whenever you lose me, you will find me at a Latin Kizz festival somewhere.
